Hi bump masters - just got my keys and, with a side by side/overlay comparison, I'm wondering if this key needs to be filed a little more due to the depth of the cuts on the normal key. Thoughts?

Your original key does not look THAT deep. The bump key pictured should do just fine.
Just a reminder: BEST keys do not use the shoulder for stopping -- but instead use the TIP. Care should be taken when bumping as it's possible to break the back plate in the lock by sticking the key in too far.

I think you need to make the valleys more deeper in original key. your filed key looks fine to me and it will work.
