First off let me just say hello to all.

I bought a set of 3 bump keys aprox 2 months ago and i just cant get my head round how to use them.
I know that sounds a bit dumb seein how its soo straight forward but i must be doing something wrong.
Either that or im trying it on the wrong type of lock.

Thiez are my bump keys

There are 2 types of lock that i have been practicing on and they are the ones i would like to be able to bump.

Here is the first. Yale Rim Cylinder lock

And UPVc Euro Cylinder lock

Now. The keys fit snug in both types of lock but i just cant manage to bump them. Has anyone got any ideas to what might be or what im doing wrong?
Does what/where your hitting the key have anything to do with it?
I normaly use the end of a screwdriver and i hit the key on the end. Not the top or the side of the key but right on the end so it pushes the key in the door.

If anyone has any idea i would be most grateful for any advice.

Thank you for taking the time to read my long post.

mabey they are security locks/ realy nice locks (btw snug is not good you want a lose fit that you can move around in) in that case find a old lock that easy... or one thats been used alot (your back door) oh and i didnt look up on the locks but please make sure that they CAN be bumped... there un-bumpable locks :P . . . any way good luck bumping
