Ok so I am completely new to this. I just found out about this today and made this key, but to my dismay its completely dysfunctional.

- What did I do wrong?
- Can it be improved?

It looks to me that the valleys are close, spacing is off. It also looks like the ramp of the key has a pin that sets on top of it. If this was an existing key that was modified to be a bumpkey, always mark the valleys before you file. I usually scratch the side of the key with my file to mark my valleys. In this case, it my be better to start over. Good try, if you correct your spacing you should be successful.
Bump first and ask questions later.
