I bought an SC-20 bump key from the bumpkey.us store, and so far I haven't got it to work.

What I'm wondering is, since the SC-20 is 6 pins, and the door I'm trying to bump is 5 pins, will it still work?

They're all schlage keys.

And the SC-20 fits inside perfectly.

It will still work, it's just a bit sloppier - try pulling the key out two pins instead of one, that sometimes helps deliver the energy to where it needs to be.

The SC-20 is a bit of an advanced move, as there is some wobble to the key due to it's not being tight fitting in the lock, and thus I would recommend becoming proficient at bumping with the specific key for the lock before attempting to use a master-keyway bump key. Although it will work for everything, it's not always quite as easy.
