What Kind of Key?

I have a padlock that really needs opening. (Lost the key a long time ago, on a really expensive chest that I don't want to hurt cutting) The problem is, I have no idea which kind of bump key I need. Heres a picture of the size of the lock.

That would probably be an M1, although several other possibilities do exist if it's not the exact lock pictured. If you took a picture of the keyway in question, the exact key necessary could be determined.

I tried an M1 blank in it, and it worked. Thanks for the recommendation.
