Does anyone know what kind of key this kind of lock uses it looks to me like a kw1 style keyway. Has any1 had exp. with this lock if so is it easy to bump????? Mine is a bolt.

Faultless is a Kwikset clone, stupid-easy to bump.

I think they make another clone as well, something that starts with an "I" also found that to take the KW1, and bump on the first try.

Faultless is a Kwikset clone, stupid-easy to bump.

my lock is SUPER tight i havent bumped it yet, cant get it also i cant pick it?? Any advice??

Do you have a key for this lock? If you do have a key, does it open the lock?

Post a picture of the lock and the key that opens it if you can.

had a depth key made for a kw10 the smith said it would work. no pics scanner is dumber than me,no cam:( the 10 works 2 pins pull out on kwikz n another clone!!?

I got it open, there is a cap on the back that screws off. It has a pin in it u must push down to loosen/tighten so i got it loose and its stupid easy as u say

I've done that a few times... the silly retaining cap on the back being on too tight. 200 attempts and then, with bloodied fingers, you realize...

Rule of Thumb: Tighten the cap down as far as it will go, then back it off 3 clicks to get the proper setting.
Bump it to the next level.
