Do the bump keys you sell have a little bit taken off the shoulder and tip so that, when inserted all the way, they can still push in a little bit, or do they need to be modified after they are received?

From what I've read/seen, this is a necessary step to use the bump key -- although it seems you can also simply pull it out one "click" and bump it that way. Is one method better than the other?

the keys you order from bumpkey.us have to be modified, because it would be illegal to ship modified keys. there is a sticky in the FAQ'S section on how to modify the tip and shoulder of your key.

About which method is better, it is preference. whatever you do and are better at, because someone else cant tell you what you are better at, you have to choose yourself.
