I've read through many topics on the forum, and I've seen that most people believe that a bump hammer is better to use than anything else.

Is there a way I could make a homemade hammer with the flat surface and all?

If so what kind of materials would I need.

Thanks in advance :D

All a bump hammer is made of is a think piece of metal and a block of rubber. go to the hardware store an look for a rubber stop for a door and be creative for the handle could be made of wood plastic etc....

I made a bump hammer out of an old automobile slimjim. Cut it in half then use duct tape to tape the 2 pieces together, it works great.

Anything which act like hammer can be used as hammer. I always use back side of screwdriver as hammer. so its up to you that which item are you using as hammer.
