Are they too obtrusive? I tried setting it up so only unregistered users would see ads... but that was a miserable failure.

And by all means if you see something interesting up there, give it a click.

They're set up in a way that they aren't noticeable. In fact, I didn't even see it until you mentioned it.

I am on very slow dial up and the pages load as fast as before and continue to function as well or better than before the ads were on the site.

Hmmm, very slow dial up, repetitively redundant.
Bump it to the next level.

Yes, Memphis is at least 10 years behind the rest of most third world countries. It is how they keep the populace subdued.

I don't have cable either, nor HDTV, nor a vehicle newer than 1995. This stuff just isn't allowed in Memphis.
