I don't know if I'm paranoid and just can't bump it right or if its the key but the ridges on the key are only about a half mm high.

Also couldn't you technically use a KW10 (6pin) key in for a 5pin lock if you just didn't put it in in all the way. It has the same grooves and all

Your key doesn't have to be any certain height.... just enough to make contact with the pins.
