I got myself a WR5 bump key (one that I hoped would work on my house) but no matter how hard I try it just doesnt seem to work. This is the original key:

and this is the bump key:

As i'm sitting there trying this out I can hear pins moving as i pull the key out to try again but still no luck getting it open.

am i missing something?

looks like you've got a '9' cut in your original key. Since your bump key is only cut to a '9' i suggest filing it a bit deeper.

And you did file down the tip AND shoulder?

And BTW - where did you get your bump key from?

yeah I filed down the tip and shoulder, I also filed down past a 9 and still no luck. I grabbed my neighbours key and went out to get a copy. I turned his key:

into somewhat of a bump key:

without much luck either. The fileing job on my own made bump key is crappy so Ifixed it up a bit after scanning in that picture.

I'll pm you where I got they key from.
