I got my bumpkey.us keys the other day and I filed 3 down to use yet I can't get them to work. I realize the shoulder on the kwikset is kind of strange (I used a triangular file before getting a regular one.) but that shouldn't matter, right?

I've tried bumping locks with these numerous times to no avail, I can post a video like I did in another thread if it'd help.

Here's the keys:

The pin depths look to be cut rcorrectly but honestly it's hard to tell the shoulders and tips from a picture, you really have to just try it out. File it down gradually so that when you stick the key into the lock the springs push the key out a little bit. That way when you bump it the pins will jump up, if you shave too much off then it will go over the hill of the key and wont work that great. Read the toool.nl manual.
Hope that helps.

Your key looks fine all you need to do is to file the tip and shoulder properly. I always use filing with very light pressure as more pressure in filing will make it not to work.
